We had been eating so much Mexican food and I had enough cheese for a while. We found this restaurant on Trip advisor. I had the vegetable soup, some babaganoush and a agave margarita...so good!! My husband had the chili soup. We both loved the food! I had a slice of peach pie and it was MORE than two people... More

This is a restaurant of long-standing smack dab in the middle of the Bent St. shopping area downtown. It offers indoor and outdoor dining in a lovely atmosphere (some of the indoor dining includes a windowed porch as well). The service was great; very friendly and efficient and the food is both delicious and affordable. I ordered the "Kit Carson"... More

The selection for lunch was small & carefully prepared, fresh and interesting. Hubby & I split french dip served w/cucumber salad. More than enough for both of us. Unfortunately no room for apricot pie right out of the oven. Next time.

Visited for lunch during stay in Taos. Three ladies each enjoyed a sandwich. Each of us would have been full on just a half (good idea for the owner). Very friendly atmosphere.

If you like veggies try the sandwich with guacamole, tomato, cucumber, sprouts and chipotle mayo. Nirvana! My husband had the creamy potato soup and pastrami sandwich and he was very happy! Service was excellent and the vibe is very upbeat and happy. Highly recommend!

I am from Colorado Springs, CO and I LOVE going to neat little towns with cute little restaurants. I passed through Taos on my way home from Ojo Caliente Resort and Spa (see that review, too!) and stumbled across this gem while I was shopping. The food was excellent and service was pretty good too. I got there 30 min... More

We went to the Bent Street cafe for breakfast because our pet friendly hotel didn't have a pet friendly patio. (Huh??) It was early on a Monday morning, so we had the patio to ourselves. The service and food were very good, and it was lovely to sit outside, listen to the Bridge on XM and watch Taos come to... More

Walking around and near the Plaza is a pleasant, if tiring at times, experience. We needed a break and happened upon just the place. From the large number of breakfast and lunch selections, we chose the California chicken salad, with its cranberry, roasted almonds, feta, cucumber and tomato -- huge, and good - and the spanakopita plate, with three sides:... Bent Street Cafe is always consistent. Serving size is big and the food is so fresh. They have a unique way of making popular food better. Their use of herbs and spices is very creative. Breakfasts are great and the lunches are wonderful. When inTaos try this quaint restaurant just off the square.

Restaurant is on a side street, easy to walk to in Taos. Service and food were both very good, and coffee was excellent.
