My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights in Santa Fe for the new year, and on our last day in NM, went to Taos for the day. I made our reservations at The Love Apple because of all the positive reviews I'd seen online, and...More

Ambiance is wonderfully romantic. Food is absolutely delicious and fresh farm-to-table and while the menu changes seasonally, I do highly recommend the tamale, which see,s to be a menu regular. They serve beer and wine but not mixed drinks and that’s just fine. The wine...More

My husband and I visited Love Apple on our first trip to Taos 10 years ago and loved it. We still talk about our experience there many years ago! We were so excited to return and even happier to find out that the food is...More

Went twice during our week in Taos. Was recommended by two different friends and it did not disappoint. Food and atmosphere were great. Wish we lived closer.

Perhaps the first restaurant where I didn't at all mind waiting for our table to be ready (not the fault of the restaurant; the previous diners were dilatory in the extreme). Taotians gathered in the vestibule, merry, gossiping, friendly and, for us Northeasterners, they were...More

We had a truly enjoyable evening at the Love Apple. It's a lovely setting and we enjoyed eating outdoors on a beautiful summer evening. The service was excellent. Enjoyed the tasty creative plates.

Quiet and intimate place to dine. They focus on local food, organic if possible. Consequently the menu changes with the seasons. The food is very well prepared. One important point- they do not take credit cards. Their effort to minimize dependence on the corporate economy...More

This is a very small restaurant with a very limited and diverse menu. Be sure to check the menu on the web so you know there is something you like. I had the Rainbow Trout that was good, but the sauce had no taste. The...More

Richard, I would like to extend our sincerest apologies for your experince with Love Apple. It is not in our etiquette to not check in with tables regarding their meal and for a table to run out of water. I will refresh my staff on...More

The cuisine at The Love Apple is world class, I must admit, as I cringe writing "The Love Apple." The name is just too damn precious for my sharp toothed sensibilities. There is a ersatz romanticism about The Love Apple that disturbs my sandpaper core....More

All the food here is bought locally in New Mexico and is flavorful and gourmet. The ambiance is relaxing after a busy tourist day. Had blue corn muffins that were also gluten free with an incredible trout grilled in a corn husk with a chipotle...More

We do not have a kids menu, but can offer a quesadilla with just cheese or chicken and cheese. We also can offer local root beer with our housemade vanilla ice cream for a root beer float for a fun dessert option. We are a... More
