We've been coming to Taos for nearly 12 years and have never made it to El Meze -- now we'll make sure to go back often during our time here. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with their version of chicharrones marinated in red...More

Enjoyed an exquisite birthday dinner last night. Patio atmosphere is relaxed accompanied with the ease only a well-seasoned staff can provide. Started with the seasonal appetizer of fresh nectarines, manchego with spanish ham. This app literally mirrors late summer evenings in Taos; the arid cooling...More

In summer you sit on a covered patio looking straight at the Sandia Mountains and they are right there so close - beyond beautiful. The food is uniquely delicious and it always seems healthy. Lots of greens mixed with my pasta - yum!

El Meze offers excellent food and service. We dined at El Meze twice and both times we ate on the open air but covered patio that offers excellent mountain views. The share plates are generous especially the Herb Frites, The Chilie Rajas is excellent and...More

Great meal here with group of friends. Staff made you feel welcome, very attentive without being intrusive. Menu was varied, and all that was recommended was perfect. We had requested a table along the outer edge as suggested in reading the reviews. The view is...More

We ate and drank our way through Northern New Mexico on a recent vacation, visiting many of our old favorites. El Meze was new to us. We lucked into the seasonal opening of their outdoor dining area. The mountain view was beautiful, but the food...More

It isn't fancy and actually rather casual but we had a fabulous time from start to finish. The hostess was lovely, our wine was great and our food amazing....I can't say enough about the setting. Ask for a table at the edge so your view...More

We are a very small boutique restaurant. We are about quality not quantity so we keep our menu limited to what we can execute to provide stellar food consistently in a timely fashion. We are not a restaurant meant for... More

We are located in the El Torreon Hacienda built in 1847 which reflects our philosophy, our food and the historical influences of Taos. From June - September we have patio seating under a tent with twinkle lights and the most incredible view of Taos Mountain.
