We hit taco night - they were very good. Lots of locals seem to eat here, too. The place was crowded the night we stopped and a friendly local diner got up and helped with serving and clearing tables. It seemed that she had worked there, or maybe it was her day off. Not sure about that but the taco's... More

We ate here because it was within walking distance from our hotel and recommended by the front desk. We ordered Mexican food based on the good reviews and no complaints aside from them being out of guacamole. Nothing special to write home about but a good quick meal after a long drive.

We walked to this restaurant for dinner after ridding all day, it was worth the walk. The service was great and the food hot. We split the pork chop dinner and it was great. Would go back again!

Only a few restaurants in Santa Rosa, NM. We chose the Santa Fe Grill on our first night in town. This restaurant, as well as others, including most of the town, is very retro. I had the Buffalo Chicken Melt sandwich and added bacon. I can not even begin to describe how delicious it was. The addition of their smoky... More

Quick stop for some dinner after being on the road all day. We ordered the chile poblano and taco platters. The rice was inedible and the beans were not very tasty. Both look like they had been sitting out all day in their little dishes. Not sure that the outer breaking on the poblano was fully cooked - it was... More

For snowbirds traveling from the upper midwest to Arizona - and back - there are not a lot of routes to take. There are also few choices of towns and cities in which to overnight. Sant Rosa, New Mexico is a very popular stop on I-40, and the town features many chain motels. There is also a small park in... More

This is a very nice lunch stop when traveling because it is right off of route 40. This seems to be a popular local establishment where the waitresses know the names of their customers. The service was good, the place is clean and the food is better than average. All in all a good stop while on the road.

Had lunch here. Food was average. Ordered a hamburger, but they only come well done (wanted it medium). Service was normal. Our waitress was good.
