What a Chile Cheese Burger! Excellent meat and very tasty. Go for it! But skip the fries, they are terrible!

A no frills kind of place and meal, but when you're faced with a rather large green chile cheeseburger what more do you need ? Lots of napkins, maybe a basket of fries and a gin tonic to wash it all down with. Reasonably priced and quick service. Certainly beats the competition across the street.

Wait staff was very friendly and we had a yummy burger at the end of the day with the birds at the Bosque. Very reasonable

This is one of many places with the "best" green chile cheeseburger: juicy gooey and delicious. It can be crowded and service can suffer on a busy weekend.

This is a must stop while visiting New Mexico. Hands down the best Green Chili Cheese Burger I have ever had. The fries are sooo good!

We were drawn to the Buckhorn, which boasts to have the 7th best green chilli cheeseburger in the USA. It is a fairly basic burger joint, but I have to say that the burger lived up to its reputation. It was good quality. The service was good and the beer cold!

Drove over from Socorro. After reviewing the menu, i asked the server if I could get the Barbque flavored burger with just onions and he said absolutely. When my food came, my diet coke with no ice had ice galore. My burger had cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles on it. Server could have cared less.

Number 1: This is NOT a fast food restaurant!! When heading to Northern New Mexico we time our travels so we can stop at The Buckhorn for lunch. The have great Green Chile Cheese Burgers. My husband opted for the Chili Verde Burger ~ that’s the famous burger minus the cheese. They will make the burgers as you would like... More

If you are driving on I 25 near Socorro, this place is well worth the stop. Their burgers are an amazing deal at $6 for a huge handcrafted patty, warm fresh bun and terrific green chili. All the hype about this place is true. We had green chili cheese fries and an Alien Amber beer with our burgers and loved... More
