Friendly service, good coffee, great food. What's not to like. We had stayed at the adjoining motel, and the Adobe Cafe set us up well for the day's journey.

Highway 180 winds through the beautiful forest, and you see few people, even fewer towns. Facilities are limited. So we were so thrilled to find this terrific small cafe and bakery. The food was all homemade with great care. We had the daily special: egg salad with dill sandwiches, soup, and soft-serve ice cream. Both soups were delicious: tomato bisque... More

The minute you walk in you know someone who cares is in the kitchen. Adorable, clean, friendly... and did I mention the desserts are to die for? An unexpected treat in the wilderness.

There are not a lot of places to stop and eat on the back roads of SW New Mexico so it was nice to find the Adobe Cafe and Bakery. For hungry folks the servings are quite large and filling. Staff welcomes you and offers suggestions. Be forewarned though and check which days they are open.

We were driving through a beautiful area of western New Mexico and came across The Adobe Café in Reserve. We stopped for lunch. Bright and cheerful, great aroma full of locals. The food is mostly local New Mexico style which we love. We were not disappointed. I had the roast pork in red Chile sauce with fresh sopapillas, beans and... More

We couldn't even pull up Reserve, NM on our GPS unit to find restaurants. We stopped at this place on a Sunday after Christmas. Couldn't believe it was open! My boyfriend ordered the oatmeal since he wasn't very hungry. His bowl came out first and we couldn't believe how big the serving was, until that is, my faux gyro was... More

We stopped in for a pit stop while driving through the area. We were greeted with enthusiasum and freindly chatter. We soon were hungry for lunch. Soup was homes type and hot. Sugar free apple dumpling just happened to come with free ice cream scoop today! Scoop was close to 2 bowls! All were very tasty and the ambiance was... More

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning and Main Street location. My wife loved her Breakfast Pizza with fresh fruit. My omelet with biscuits and gravy was amazing. The owner served us herself and she is a delight. Good honest down-home food and atmosphere. We will return.

You just would not expect such a great place in the western New Mexico forests where there is very little population. But this café is a surprise in friendliness and fresh food. Obviously caters to bikers, locals, and folks just passing through. Tasty sandwiches and everything made with care.
