We started eating at Texas Red's when it was in it's original building before the fire and it has become a must whenever we are in town. I really like the new building and the food is excellent as usual. We always have a great time and it brings back memories of Red River in the past. We will be... More

Being a small town, Texas Reds is a good place to grab dinner if you have a special occasion to celebrate.

I went to TX Reds my first time as a kid, and it was more exciting then than now. Love the peanuts on the floor, western theme, and the service was decent. Food was just OK, and the cocktails were probably the least favorite of all. It was crowded, but they seemed to have their staff fully trained for it,... More

We were in Red River for our first family ski trip and wanted to eat a nice meal out before our vacation was over. There were 6 in our party; 2 adults and 4 kids. We went on a Saturday night about 5:30 and were seated immediately. My boys loved the peanuts in a shell they bring before you order...... More

Beware of quoted wait times!!! Walked in a little before 6 p.m. and hostesses quoted us a 45 min to 1 hour wait for a party of 3. We chose to wait. We were not seated until 1 hour and 15 minutes later, after watching parties that arrived after us get seated. Our waitress was very sweet, but there must... More

Texas Reds is a must when you visit Red River. During busy times of the year I recommend using the Hostess Hotline to put your name on the waiting list. The number is on their website. The atmosphere is fun and the food is fantastic!

This place is really good but slightly pricey. We got an appetizer platter and shared it. There was a lot of food. It's good for a vaca meal but not everyday.

Husband had the buffalo rib eye. Very very good. I had lamb chops. They were good. Soup of day was clam chowder. It was loaded with clams.

We've been coming here for years, this was the worst. Prime rib was cold. Steak was raw. I doubt if we'll back!

Last time we were in Red River was in 2011 and I was anxious to see if the steaks at Texas Reds were just as good since we have had what we thought "was the best steaks ever!". Texas Reds did not disappoint. We dined in on a Tuesday February 14, 2017 for Valentine's Day! It was wonderful. If you... More
