The Breakfast Buffet is Terrific! Bacon is crispy, scrambled eggs done right, biscuits and gravy are very tasty! Hot delicious coffee and fresh fruit, what more could one ask for. We have found our new best destination for breakfast in Raton, great food for a modest price and the service was wonderful.

I popped in for lunch. The place was very clean and staff very friendly. My two small service dogs were welcomed very well. WiFi too. I'd go again for sure.

You maybe have to work a little to find Pappy's and some travelers may be inclined toward typical fast food chains. Go find Pappy's. It's a winner. The green chili fusion burger was splendid. Salads excellent. A quaint little place with good food and value!

Great food! Very inexpensive with a friendly atmosphere. Ariel and Sherry are wonderful. Very much a local eatery with nice customers.

We decided to visit Pappas after seeing the reviews and because my husband had said he was hungry for chicken salad. We were not disappointed. The chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread was great. We also had a garden salad that was really good and onion rings which were great. Prices are very good. Customers seems to be local regular... More

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your visit! The chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread was started with my grandma and grandpa back in 1923. We still use the same recipe for both. Glad to hear you will get a chance to visit us again. More

I ordered the homemade mac and cheese. It was horrible--elbow macaroni with a watery milk sauce and some cheese half way melted on top. The green salad came from a bag with a packet of dressing and packets of saltine crackers. My husband had the fish and chips which was mushy on the inside. We will NOT be eating there... More

It is always are goal to try what we think are local restaurants when on our road trips. We usually are never disappointed. And we were very happy with the service and the breakfast. We met a waitress who inquired if we were riding the motorcycle. She shared some stories with us about riding, her dad teaching her to dance,... More

We enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. The burgers were excellent, and the onion rings and sweet potato fries were perfect! The staff were very friendly, and the facility was very clean. A good value for your dollar.

Great people, friendly, fast, and courteous. The food is good. Just a simple family owned place to eat where they make you feel at home. The hours of operation like most restaurants in Raton is limited/odd.

Description
Family owned restaurant in business since 1923. Our sandwiches are still served on our homemade bread. We have expanded the menu this year to include more home style favorites like meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. We have kept our local Mexican food favorites such as our pancake style enchiladas, stuffed sopapilla, and fajitas. We also have beer and wine to accompany your meal.
