Everyone has their style of how to cook their green and red chili sauce and Ranchos Plaza Grill did it exactly how I like it. It was well seasoned (with no need to add any salt or pepper, unfortunately I've tasted several of the same...More

The Ranchos Plaza Grill is housed in an old adobe hacienda which, in itself, is a treat. The food is very freshly prepared, tasty, and portions are large enough. They offer delicious and fresh salads as well as traditional New Mexico foods such as enchiladas,...More

Set in historic St Francis plaza, in an old adobe the staff does wonders in an awkward layout. However, the carne asada was overcooked, the presentation not particularly inviting, tho the sauce was tasty. The adobe lends itself to reverberation, and with only one other...More

You absolutely must try their stuffed sopapila. It is amazing. No alcohol here but that is a good thing. You will be food drunk. It is so good.

Terrific northern New Mexico cuisine located on the plaza in Ranchos de Taos, and this spot is known for their Indian fry bread, or sopapillas. My wife had the stuffed sopapilla with chicken and Christmas(both red & green) chile sauces. I went with blue corn...More

My wife and I had breakfast here recently after driving by it for years. Let me make this review simple: our food was great, the wait staff was great, and the owner was there to make everyone welcome. The restaurant has lots of interesting murals...More

This restaurant occupies many rooms of an old building - and has lots of character. What was really special though was the red salsa - rather than being made with pureed chiles, it had torn or broken chiles - and the flavor was so much...More

The food was very good. Not great, but very good. The service was exceptionally friendly, but we did wait almost 20 minutes for the check and payment. The sopapillas were something really special.

Friendly, but horrible service. Mediocre Mexican food, not much flavor. I spent 15 minutes waving for a waiter to get my check, then waited another 15 minutes for it to come and finally just got up and joined a line of similarly fated cust omers.

I hope they are not as that family should be home celebrating together. But suggest you call them for an answer or the Taos Visitors Center. If they are closed, suggest you try Old Martina's Hall directly accross street... More
