When we entered, there was a long wait and people getting in the way of servers because entryway is crowded by design. We waited over 30 minutes and I did notice a few empty tables. While we waited, I overheard the buzz that TripAdvisor has great reviews of us so everyone is coming. Our waiter was outstanding but the food... More

The food was excellent as well as the service. Beats any chain restaurant hands down. Only downside might be no liquor.

Our favorite go-to place for authentic Mexican food in Las Cruces. There's a good reason La Nueva Casita always ranks among the top restaurants in town

Arrived in what appeared to be more a neighborhood with a park across the street. Our server, Yogi, was polite and let us sample both red and green sauce. Got combination plate. Tremendous!

I could close my eyes, taste the food and easily be back at a local Virginia Mexican restaurant. We all have our take on what is authentic. For me,... More

Small restaurant in an old historic neighborhood. It was busy but they are very attentive as soon as you walk in the door. The food was worth the wait. We would go there again.

This is a family owned, local restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Very moderately priced, and delicious. Would love to go again if we're ever in Las Cruces.

One of the things I like most about visiting Las Cruces is eating in their many fine Mexican restaurants. This place doesn't disappoint. It's very easy to find, only a couple blocks off Amador on Mesquite Street, close to Main Street. It's in an older very well kept area of town. It's very casual and the staff is very friendly....
