This is a cute road side diner along Route 66. The atmosphere makes you feel like you were traveling "back in the day"! Complementary chips, salsa and guacamole served when you sit down. They have burgers and sandwiches and great service. We had the green chile patty melt with fries and they were fantastic! Good burger on nice rye bread... More

I didn't eat breakfast one morning when I luckily found Aurelia's. I was so hungry. Chips and guacamole hit my table right away. I got huevos of course and the chili was good. I like the atmosphere. I was full after my meal.

Especially, if you are from the Northeast and remember the 1950 diners that were everywhere, you will love just walking in. The waitresses are dressed in 1950's style uniforms,& lots of chrome . The menu items where like I remember way back when. Even rootbeer floats. I believe they have every Pez dispenser ever produced, Old time juke box, and... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way home to Phoenix and were so glad we did! The first pleasant surprise was the free chips, salsa and guacamole, all of which were tasty. We had one Mexican and one non-Mexican dish, and both were very good. Service was friendly and prompt throughout, and to top it all off they gave... More

We stopped because we were looking for classic American diners on route 66. Found it! Lots of good food at a very small price. $25 feed two people. Service was really good too.

Unfortunately the AC was on the blitz but fortunately Gallup is usually cool-ish in the shade so we sat outside. We both ordered the Navajo Taco which I had ordered and enjoyed on the visit a couple of years ago. It was OK but the fry bread was tougher this time and if we come back I'll order it without... I was recently traveling west on I-40, heading to Phoenix, and decided to stop for breakfast in Gallup, NM. Passing on the familiar chain restaurant and venturing about a mile from the exit I stumbled on Aurelia's Diner, which specializes in Mexican food. What a pleasant surprise! My meal was prededed by free salas, guacomole and chips, and ended with... More
