Excellent New Mexican food at a very reasonable price! Super Sangria! We were there on a Saturday night when it was very busy and the wait staff did an exceptional job.

Junky little dive. Enchilada was odd with meat spread over bottom tortilla and another thrown on top like a sandwich. Grits instead rice, no flavor. Didn't like the hard beans either. Margarita was not blended and cost as much as the dinner.

Typical Mexican food, not bad though. The side of posole is not the typical posole we were used to, but it was still good (Mainly just hominy and sauce). As many others have stated, chips and salsa are not free. The seating was quite packed, seems they are just trying to sit as many people as possible without concern for... More

Guacamole - very good, great taste. I had a cold tea and lemonade drink. Very interesting. $2.00 with one refill. I recommend it. Good. Special chicken, bean and salad. No idea what it was called. It looked look at the next table. The couple said it tasted great. I enjoyed it very much. I should have taken a picture and... More

Being from Austin, TX the food here seemed average to us. It IS a local favorite so don't let this review deter you from going; I'm just being very honest about our opinions. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Really pleasant restaurant just north of town. It has a lovely patio area for casual dining with a cheerful welcome by staff/owners. The food is strictly Mexican/New Mexican; only beer and wine, large portions, well executed and very inexpensive. Good place for a fix of this style of casual dining at a great price.

I realize their are other restaurants in Taos. But Orlandos is our all time favorite for dinner. The patio the feeling outside. The service the ice cold beer. The food!! Is top notch and I'm picky when it comes to mexican food. Being from up north in Colorado we know a thing or two about mexican food. Try Orlandos when... More

The place is not too fancy on the outside, but the food is amazing! People line up every evening waiting for the doors to open for dinner. Family owned. I told the waitress, who was one of the daughters, that this food is better than any Mexican food I have had back home in Houston. Having hominy with the beans... More
