First of all, yum. Secondly, can't wait to go again. Our family of 5 ranging from 11 to 41 found this place to be a new fav in Taos. The chili relleno was awesome! The enchilada and tamale were too! Order anything with chili Christmas style so you don't have to choose between red or green chili! Both are So... More

The setting is not fancy. The hand held burritos are the families favorite. Good size and tasty. Small restaurant, but for a quick something, it always a good choice.

I order a veggie burrito and it was good. My child's food was way too spicy. My husband's was not very good - he ordered the Taco Salad. But the service was very good. And the chips were yummy, freshly made with good salsa! It's a much cheaper option than other restaurants we have visited in the area.

Have tried both north and south places, both good, favorite, north.....why....north location is one of those little joints where you see everything going on, food prep included. Everyone is so nice (south too), the food is always fresh and good. North and south serve different salsa with their chips, equally as good. This is a great place for bang for... More

There are two Torribio's in the Taos area - both are good - one on the north side and one on the south. My favorite? Cheese enchiladas - green! I have eaten at both, but prefer the one on the south side - reason? I'm not sure, but I really like the owner's daughter-in-law who works there. She is delightful.... More

I have only eaten there once but must say the Torta Cubana is their best sandwich I have ever had. It was delicious.

Heard about this little place from a local the last time we were in Taos and made a point to stop on our next trip. We had the Huevos Rancheros Christmas and a Breakfast Burrito with Potatos, Eggs, Chorizo and Salsa. I have to say the Huevos Rancheros is on the top two of my list for best so far.... More

What a find! Close to our rv park--authentic Mexican food--and yes, they spoke English. Patio outside welcomes pets. Food was really good. Also offer beer, wine and wine Margaritas.

Fantastic food, very friendly staff, so glad we stopped. We don't speak Spanish, and the staff didn't speak English, but the food was fantastic. So glad we stopped! Great little roadside cafe, would stop again if we were to pass through on a similar route.
