I wasn’t sure about Italian food in New Mexico. But wow, this is some of the best Italian I have had, I opted for the soup instead of salad and I am so glad I did. The soup was this creamy Potato soup with chunks...of fresh Italian sausage. That alone would have made me happy. Then the entree came which was the chicken parmigiana. It was crispy and delicious. The sauce was light and not overpowering. The portion was large, my mouth is watering from the memory. I took a slice of the lemon cake to go which was also amazing. Service was fantastic too. If you find yourself in Deming definitely treat yourself to a meal here.More

eat there a week apart and both times food was overcookrd and not very tasty.The cheese sticks were very good. Grill is average at best.

If I lived here, you'd probably be seeing me on the show "My 600 Lb. Life". I could eat the Chicken Marsala every day. It's THE best I've ever had. ( unless my mother-in-law is reading this) Last time we stopped in Demming overnight, I...ordered the Chicken Marsala, and never forgot about it. That was 3 years ago. Got it again last night & now that we're 100 miles away, I'm thinking-why didn't I order 2 meals so I could be eating it again now??? Next time!!More

The Prime Rib dinner is very popular here. Many orders around us, but when we ordered they were sold out. My husband had the potato soup—excellent but very spicy for me so could not eat. The Italian sauces is also very spicy. I ordered the...chicken salad sandwich, but I was very disappointed. The dessert was wonderful and unique. Staff is gracious and attentive. Clean but in dire need of some upgrades. I will not be back.More

I'll keep it short. Marie's is the real deal. We've been eating here for years, since it was Palma's, and I can't even drive near Deming without stopping here, lunch or dinner. It's been years since my first discovery, and it tastes exactly the same...as the first time. How many restaurants can claim that kind of consistency? As one of Italian descent from New Jersey who has worked extensively in the restauraunt industry, I've seen my fair share of italian eateries, so take that pseudo-authority for what it's worth: Marie's is legit. My recommendations/my "usuals": Start with the signature soup. Fair warning, a cup wont be enough, get the bowl. Chicken Parm: perfect in every way, posssibly the best I've had anywhere. Fettucine Alfredo: also some of the best anywhere. Velvety, rich, but balanced. (Add the chicken breast) Perfect Meatballs....Gotta have a side of 'em regardless of my entree. And THE SAUCE is truly the hero. Anybody that had an Italian grandmother that referred to their marinara as "gravy", this will take you back. I hate to use the word twice, but "velvety" is exactly how I would descibe the marinara. Seasoned perfectly, sublime. Drinkable, in fact. Honorable mention: the southwest chicken pasta, teh shrimp scampi, and the ribye alla porto (with or without requested bleu cheese crumbles) is very much worth the extra time it takes to prepare. Also fantastic spicy cheese ravioli appetizers. Really though, it's hard to go wrong here. The beer is always cold, the service is always friendly, and very cool original historic interior with intact bank vault doors and everything. So it wasn't short, but, I think I made my point; Marie's rocks.More

What an awesome surprise! We pulled up and saw the signs for curbside takeout but then my husband noticed they had patio dining! Went on trip advisor and checked out the menu and decided to give it a try! Right decision. I ordered shrimp Alfredo...and my husband who is extremely particular about how his steak is cooked ordered the Ribeye. It was cooked Perfect. It is usually very difficult to communicate that he likes it extremely rare and cool in the middle. I call that Pittsburg style. But the chef nailed it. His side orders were also remarkable I have been fortunate to experience Chef Tables and this is as close to the finest Fine dining I have experienced in a long time. We are just visiting the area but has already recommended this to our neighbors. We will definitely make the trip back before we leave. And btw service was awesome No white table clothes remember we are in a pandemic. But patio was as delicious as the meal!More
