Excellent dinner and very courteous and prompt staff. Chips and probably the best salsa we have had arrived upon sitting down, with drink orders taken right away. We had a combo meal and a burrito dinner. The ground beef used in the taco and burrito...was so good, I would return just for a taco!! Large portions, excellent food, and great service equals return visit!More
Quick friendly service, good food, great price. Not fancy just good food. Enjoyed the stacked enchiladas and chili Rellenos. And just off 1-10 downtown.
The service and food was excellent. My husband had the #1, combo plate with a little everything. I had the Taco salad with chicken. Don't miss half your salad under the bowl. Pico de Gallo was fresh and spicy. They make their own salsa and...was so good we got some to go. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.More
Absolutely a great place for a fine Mexican meal at a resonable price. Friendly service. You can easily see why the Townspeople flock to Irma's. It should be your go-to destination if you're on the road to Arizona or Texas.
I would return! The reason for 4 versus 5 was the service was a little slow, the bathroom needed attention, and the carne asada was a little too dry. There was a “wait to be seated” sign, but after about 5 minutes, a woman said...to sit wherever we like. In fairness, there was a help wanted sign in the window. The Mexican tacos were very good, meat was just a little too dry. Salsa definitely has a kick to it.More
The food was tasty, the beer was cold, the service was good. I ate more than I should. It was a great local restaurant.
Service was the best part our visit. Good New Mexican food and selection. Chile was ok but nothing special, either red or green. Salsa was fair. Portions were very good. Prices were very reasonable. The seating area is plain and comfortable. There are other menu...options for those who prefer non New Mexican.More
What a wonderful, cozy, “Abuela’s kitchen” sort of place. The chilequilas I had were perfect. Very reasonable prices & too generous proportions:😁. Excellent waitress. Lots of locals eating here which is a great sign of good home cooking. Nothing fancy, but entirely satisfying.
Food was flavorful. Chili rellenos good. The carnitas was very dry or I would have rated higher. I think our waitress was new, she was having a little difficulty staying on top of everything. Very nice though. I would try it again.
