It is a bit outside of town and it doesn't seem like a restaurant when you drive up but it is with the ride. Decor is eccentric and the lighting is dark, but the ribeye is amazing as well as their pulled pork. The French onion soup is fantastic and the service was excellent. Unique experience! Would go back again.

My husband and I had dinner at the Adobe Deli and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a quirky little place out in the desert, 8 miles from Deming, NM. They have great steaks. We shared a Porterhouse steak, which was delicious and more than enough for the two of us and my husband is a big eater. We also had... More

This was a long drive out of town and was hard to know whether we were in the right place after pulling into the parking lot. Fine for locals who know where they are going but a sign with the name on it in the parking lot would be a big help. Was a busy night with March Madness games... More

Dining here is a unique & special EXPERIENCE! Our hotel clerk highly recommended it, and it's on the same side of town as the airport and our hotel...that said, it's actually 9 miles outside of Deming, but so worth the drive!!!! The old rural school closed in 1977, but much of the school "feel" remains, and you have to walk... More

We drove out for a late lunch and had already planned steak for dinner...no worries though, there was plenty on the menu to choose from and it was awesome! The atmosphere is fun, filled with funny signs, stuffed animals (real ones, not Winnie the Pooh) of all sorts, andcool stuff to see. The beer was cold and tasty, the onion... More

Husband loved his steak and French onion soup. They undercooked so a medium well steak was pretty raw so for two of us left us hungry. Margarita was a bottled mix and one of my pet peeves is to pay for a nice steak dinner and have to open individual butter pats for the baked potato.....it should come out of... More

Back after 2 years and just as good. The T-bone steaks are wonderful and large. Sides good as well. Fried ice cream for desert.

Often you hear about a place that sounds terrific and the you go there and it doesn't quite measure up but the Adobe Deli is SO worth the trip! About 10 miles east of Rockhound State Park, in the proverbial middle of nowhere, this is a unique place to eat - funky, dark, dead animals on the walls, but WHO... More

We visit this restaurant at least twice yearly. It has the best food. We love the ribeyes-always cooked to perfection and the French Onion soup is the best we've ever had. The restaurant is rustic but that just adds to the uniqueness and quaintness of the place. They do have a full bar. Service is always friendly. Must stop by... More

Friends in Las Cruces took ours out there and we had a great time. Ribs, rib eyes, crab cakes and French onion soup all great. We'll go back next time we're down this way. Good draf beer selection too. Shacque the bar tender was our server and was fun.
