Fresh garlic or plain naan. Can't decide between dishes offered? They will let you sample small portions so that you can decide. For a cafeteria style place, it is decent. There is no wait staff. You order and a get your plate of food right there. It is quick and inexpensive. The tandoori chicken and chana masala are good. Decent... More

We went here for dinner last week. The food if fantastic. The waiters were very attentive. We had enough to take home and it was just as good the next day for lunch.

Had been in ABQ for business and was driving up to visit a friend. Got hungry before heading up to Santa Fe and stopped to get gas. Saw this place as I drove back through the shopping centers. I love Indian food and Thai.. so I stopped and got a chicken curry with rice, and tea. It was very good.... More

Full disclosure: I'm not a great fan of Indian food. My vegetarian wife is. Which is largely why we were here around 1 p.m. on a Sunday. And, really, it's not as if I couldn't find enough in this buffet to fill my tummy. Including a tasty goat curry, though what I sampled contained far more goat bones than meat.... More

This Saffron Tiger moved into the space vacated by India Palace. Although the menus were similar, the prices at Saffron Tiger were higher, the food not as good, and the service was terrible. It seemed as though no one person was assigned to our table.

My dining companion and I had been to the Saffron Tiger Express on Paseo. We thought this restaurant was the same format--the "choose your entree and sides" similar to Panda Express. But this was a sit down restaurant with a full menu. It smelled wonderful when we walked in. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the wait staff was... More

I've been to many Indian buffets and I think this is probably one of the better ones, if not the best. The selection is huge and everything is hot and delicious. The atmosphere is very upscale and even allows booths for more private dining conversation. The service is excellent, with just the right amount of attention. I love that I... More

If you want a fast lunch with great food, visit this restaurant that is on Alameda and Coors. They have a buffet with a great variety, service is fast and I like this location better than the one at Paseo del Norte. The food seems better selection and the atmosphere and decoration is more elegant. I notice they have a... More

....but there was something about it made me wonder how fresh and clean were the vegetables - a bit of a cold atmosphere and pricey too.
