The Restaurant at Waterkloof is a lovely place to visit. The architecture is amazing and the restaurant is top notch. The views are also outstanding.

Quality personified. This was a real treat, really fine dining. The food was excellent, complemented by their own wines which worked well. The food was attractively presented, perfect sized portions and we savoured every mouthful. As this restaurant is located high in the hills, the views are superb and the whole meal was very reasonable priced, given the quality.

Beautiful views, lovely wines and very knowledgeable staff who know their wine. Ask for Kirsty. Cape Coral was our favourite.

We visited the restaurant for lunch, the views are amazing and the architects did an amazing good job of blending the futuristic building into the scenery! Food however was from extreme good quality but lacked on taste in every way, the chef needs to taste his own dishes... The chef has a big preference on mousses and gelish structure that... More

After having lunch at Waterkloof last year we went for dinner this year. Book in advance as it is busy. Upon the hill you have great views. Restaurant is very modern, open view to the kitchen. Service is good and efficient but was not as friendly as we are used to. Food is the best we have had this year... More

For a restaurant with so much potential the food was disappointing. At the times flavours overwhelmed the main ingredient such as the marron I had. Duck was dry though beautifully presented. If the attentiveness to taste matched presentation then the Waterkloof would be a winner

It's not often we can find a place that is a 'first' for both of us. That's why we were thrilled to hear from a friend in Somerset West about 'Waterkloof'. The approach to the place was, if I can use the adjective in its justifiable sense, 'awesome.' You climb the old Sir Lowry's Pass road almost to the village... More

First time at this establishment, great location, spectacular views. Menu very interesting and very expensive, the food was spectacularly plated if a bit too "designed" in my opinion. Superb flavours and very high quality. Wine list and wines excellent.

This was a meal and experience of a lifetime. I firstly recommend you ask for Lwasi to be your waiter. He was an integral part of the meal. We decided to go with the Degustation menu as we got to taste the best of what the chef had to offer. Lwasi was the like the director of the classical piece... More
