It is a food adventure like no other, wild and wonderful flavors pass the pallet as the taste combinations keep coming. It's like a roller coaster of tastes and the unique way the food is prepared coupled with the local ingredients makes it a proudly South African bespoke evening. The service was excellent and the explanations of the wines was... More

Firstly we were a family of five on a gastronomic tour of South Africa. We stopped at the hotel to try the tasting room and whereas we would all gladly go back again and stay for a week at the hotel, the tasting room was terrible. Service is average - restaurant feels like a bad hybrid between it being a... More

The most amazing dinner experience ever. Much like going to the theater only the attraction is a spectacular 8 course meal paired with wines that keep surprising you with the creativity of tastes and presentation. Well worth it--very memorable and enjoyable evening and wonderful service. A real tastings of flavors and culture.

I have to rate the experience relative to price and hype. The service was good, the room had too much light so not as intimate as would have expected and I found myself being party to others conversations! The notion of different courses for each diner (we were a couple) is novel but it did mean we had very small... More

This is a culinary extravaganza delivered with all the flair of a fine stage production. The eight course tasting menu is full of surprises with dishes hidden from view under fragile sheets of edibles until a broth or sauce added by a server, along with a beautifully and enthusiastically delivered description of the ingredients, reveals the dish in all its...
