Food is really good. Ambience is avg although I liked the innovative table design. Toilets are below average. Service was great as they made some changes as per our liking and made sure we get what we were looking for.

Went to this restaurant only once. It was packed with Asian people which is a good sign for this kind of restaurant. I tried a pork entree, quiet original. It is worth definetly a second try. The service is fast
We have eaten at The Hot Wok Café many times, and although it is a 30 minute drive from our home, it is well worth the drive. Everything that we have tried on their menu is excellent, and they have some wonderful creations that you do not find in your typical New Jersey Chinese restaurant. The service is extremely good,... The food is excellent! They make there own dumplings and they offer them both fried or steamed. Try the Lion's Head (Chinese Meatball) which is out of this world. You get three large meatballs per oder served in a broth with cabbage. Also the Fly's Head is a delicious dish of minced pork, Chinese chives and fermented beans. We finished... More
Great food and run by a wonderful family. All dishes prepared to order. Service is good, menu is diverse; specials are always very good.
The food was very good. Great spot for lunch as the service was very quick! Will definitely be back here for lunch again soon.
This is located in a small strip mall. The decor is simple with Chinese music backdrop. When I was there for lunch the crowd was mixed Asian Anglo and the place was very busy. Despite being busy the service was pleasant and very prompt. The menu is not elaborate and consists of the usual Chinese dishes. Nonetheless, the food was... More
This is a small unpretentious place in a strip mall with a short menu. For nearly fifteen years they have been serving good very tasty Chinese food at very moderate prices. The owner and his family are directly involved in the operation of the restaurant and have maintained a homely caring ambiance. When we want a reasonably priced alternative to... More
Hot Wok has been our go-to Chinese for years. They have a nice regular menu and daily specials. The portions are generous and the variety of veggies incorporated is nice (unlike some places where it's all broccoli or celery or carrots). We love the shredded pork and garlic, the kung po chicken and the happy family dishes. Ask for brown... More
I have dinner at Hot Wok Cafe twice a week. This is no doubt the best Chinese restaurant within 30 minutes' drive from Princeton. Most of their food is really good but please do not order orange chicken. Just order something on the Chinese menu (you may ask for some explanation, but it deserves!). I will recommend the cold noodle,... More
