This is a good local pub in Springfield. Went there after work with some colleagues for a few beers and a bite to eat. Plenty of parking off Morris Ave. This place has a bar which seems to be frequented by locals, plus 2 dining rooms. The choice of beers is OK, with some craft brews mixed in. The service... More

Have been going visiting this restaurant for 4 years or so, but my last visit the service was poor and the food was bland. I don't know what changed, I know the ownership has changed but this is the first time the experience wasn't good. They have put money into the décor and the restaurant itself is much nicer from... McLynns is a Springfield favorite of mine. Friendly and open, with good food and drinks. I hangout here after work about once a month or so with friends, and have had work parties here once in a while.

Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere . A place where " everyone knows your name". Pub menu, comes fresh and hot. Nice bar area with separate dining. Great family place.

My husband and I went for dinner last night. I had a burger and he had the pot pie which was supposed to be so good. Well the roll on the burger was falling apart in pieces while I was trying to eat it. It clearly was frozen then defrosted. The meat was blah and dry. Lettuce was old and... More

We like hamburgers, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, broiled salmon, and other pubby standards that McLynn's does well. There are three rooms: bar, near dining room, far dining room; if you want to talk quietly, the far dining room is to be preferred, as the bar is frequently boisterous. Service is prompt and friendly, and the specials are listed on... More

I'd have to say that this place gets it. The food is always good. The specials change daily and the desserts are fresh. I usually grab a burger but I love the Chicken Pot Pie!! Oh and the kitchen stays open to a decent hour most nights.

If you're looking for good pub food, beer and live music on Saturdays - check out McLynns in downtown Springfield. Great local place that makes you feel warm and welcome as you belly-up to the bar.

I have been to this place a few times. I have always found their burgers to be good and it has a nice atmosphere. They also have live entertainment like bands and I once attended a comedy night there. Overall I recommend the place. It is good for a fun night out.
