This was our last stop of vacation. Food was good service was quick and prices were reasonable. The decor was cute and the cozy.

This diner is conveniently located right next to the train station in South Orange. The food is great, big portions, and very nicely prepared. Alot of food for a little money!

If you like deep fried French fries, the village diner have some of best I ever tasted. Not too oily, but you can taste the oil throughout the fry. I had the chicken panini sandwich and the plate was overwhelmed with fries, too many to finish, enough for two people. Will definitely go again when I back in south orange.

Politely asked for extra ketchup and she continued to say it was placed in the bag. I looked in the bag and then asked for additional ketchup. She then started to argue and be highly rude. I will never return. Then called to speak to a manager me the rude person at the counter was the manager and said she... More

The food is decent for the money BUT, the maximum parking meter time is 30 minutes and the South Orange authorities stand by the meter to give you a $ 45 ticket as soon as the meter runs to 0. AND, South Orange does NOT allow "meter feeding' so even if you go back to the meter before 30 minutes... More

I enjoy stopping in diners when I am in a new area. You have to be careful, diner is not always a diner. This was a diner. An extremely varying choice of food to order. You will not go hungry with all the options they have. We ordered everything from a salad to the daily special to sandwiches. The portions... More

Have eaten here many times with my kids. Always good home style meals with plenty of menu options. Prices are very reasonable and quality is good.

We eat here all the time. It is located right near the train station, and I sometimes stop in on my way home from work. It is my kids go-to dinner place. The food is pretty good, some dishes are better than others. The service is terrific, warm and friendly, and they always remember us.

I've been here a few times, the food is okay--nothing I would describe as good. Service was kind of slow, took about a half hour to get food and it wasn't crowded at all. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

I stopped here for lunch one day. I had a cheeseburger and fries. They were good. The service was pleasant and the prices were reasonable. This is what I expect when I stop at a diner.
