First time going to Nicholas which has only three menus, a 3 course, 4 course and a vegetarian tasting menu. We opted for the 4 course and shared everything. Each course is paired with wine for an additional cost and there are two wine options. Everything, including the service was excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend this restaurant... More

My wife and I have eaten in the dining room about 8 times over the years and it is always excellent and once at the "chef's table" downstairs off the kitchen which was a unique and very enjoyable experience. We knew we wouldn't be able to get a reservation for a Friday night in April for dinner so we decided... More

I was excited to try this restaurant after hearing about it for years, but I was unpleasantly surprised. My husband and I ate there tonight for our anniversary and knew it was an expensive restaurant, but we decided to try it given all of the great reviews my friends provided. There are only 3 menus...a 3 course menu for $70,... More

This was my first time eating at Nicholas, my wife had several times prior but not for a few years. Their reputation is very good and extremely tough to find a legitimate, poor review. Also it was my wife's birthday and we truly wanted a memorable dining experience. Thankfully we got it! When I called for the reservation, very nice... More

We were initially very excited about getting the reservation for what looked like an amazing menu, but ended up being terribly disappointed with the tuna pop-up dinner. Service was excellent, as was the bread and wine. That said, (and this review is ONLY for the tuna pop-up), dinner was so disappointing. The spicy tuna "roll" was good but we felt... More

This place is WAY expensive, but well worth it if you have the wherewithal. Great to celebrate a special occasion, anniversary, birthday etc...for couples. Don't bother bringing kids here. Enjoyed the bar scene while waiting for our table. Eclectic menu and uncommon food selection. I ate things I never thought I would, and it was all fantastic. A cheaper way... More

We had a wonderful meal here last night. Celebrating our 25th anniversary, we couldn't of picked a better place. Greeted warmly at the front door, we were seated immediately. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We had a choice between the three course meal or a five course tasting menu with or without a wine pairing. We chose the... More

We did the tasting menu with one order of the Nicholas and one order of the Cellar wines. The cellar wines were expensive but also excellent. Every single food item we got was great. This is certainly worthwhile a repeat. But also do expect a pretty big price tag for this meal. For 2 people doing the tasting menu with... More

I can see why Nicholas is a consistently written up across the state. We went for a birthday celebration, and they made it wonderful. service is top notch, friendly and efficient. Food was creative, presented beautifully. Prix fix has a lot of options. Gnocchi with pork ragu appetizer was so different and delicious. Cod, lobster meals were fresh and tasty.... More
