We got the vanilla, which I wasn't much a fan of, but I did sample the hazelnut, which was fairly good.

Very small place, with no bathroom, and the person making the crepes was cutting all fresh ingredients into whatever you ordered. Problem is that there are on 2 machines to make any crepes. No way to run a business. There is another one located at 301 North Harrison Street, which I noticed on our way out of Princeton. They have... More

Scott has returned to family recipes and if possible, gelato is better. Closed over the winter (2014) for renovations our family was worried they wouldn't reopen. Bent spoon cannot be compared to authentic Italian gelato and sorbet. ***An Italian server from a local Italian (well known) restaurant comes here with his wife. Small tables, espresso, sandwiches, desserts, and changing gelato... More

This is some great and authentic gelato. Staff/owners are very friendly and helpful when it comes to sampling and choosing flavors. Place is now called Dolceria for those who can't find it on the Internet.

I had the nicest surprise the first time I visited Gelavino. There were 90 of us Americani and we often hung out at Cavini, as it was called. The sons of those... More

Standard Gelato joint, like one might find in Rome. But Princeton has the Bent Spoon, so why would anyone bother with decent when they can get Sublime nearby?

When you meet people from all over Italy who drive the distance to Princeton, you KNOW this gelato is the real thing. Flavors are always changing, selection will not disappoint, and they have sorbet choices. Can sit outside if you desire. They have espresso machine to go with a light Italian meal or pannini.
