Looking to help local business in Pitman and decided to give mama Marie’s an order. The food was delivered on time and left in location requested. The sandwiches were prepared perfectly the role was fantastic and all the ingredients fresh and tasty. Definitely looking forward to our next order!

Pitman, New Jersey becomes a winter wonderland around the holidays. The Broadway Theater has shows, the town is decorated, and you can see a fantastic free light display at Hagerty’s Christmas Village in the heart of town. What about eating? Mama Marie’s Italian Market is a good choice for fantastic Italian delicacies and sandwiches. I had the Chicken Brando which is Chicken Cutlet, Sharp Provolone, Roasted Red Peppers. The serving size is generous and price point very affordable for the quality and quantity.

Never judge a book by its cover!

I was a little taken back with the venue. It was old and not kept up well. With that being said, what it lacked in ambience it made up for in the food! The broccoli rabe, roasted red pepper and eggplant hoagie and the meatball hoagie was a ten! Cute little town to peruse!

Mom and Pop stlye shop with great sandwiches/soup

Might not be the fastest service in town if you are in a rush, but the small wait is worth it. Have never been disappointed with any menu item. Full size sandwiches/subs are big. Everything in the deli case can be had To-Go, along with calling in your order for pick up. Very informal setting with limited seating. And don't be surprised if the owner, Dom, checks you out and says, "What did you have?"

Gross.. time to clean

I’m sure in their prime, the place was great. We went for Sunday morning breakfast sandwiches and the place was in shambles. There are no hood fans so it was smoky and stinky. The breakfast sandwiches were hearty but the rolls were super stale and crumbling. We had 1 buttered role and it was practically inedible, so stale. The store was super cluttered, disorganized and dirty. I would not recommend until it’s been thoroughly cleaned. Sorry Mama Marie’s … gotta do better.

Love Mama Marie's!! Great food, have ever had anything we didn't love. Little Nicky hoagie and the siciliano are 2 of our favorites! The owner, Dom is wonderful! A must stop when you are in Pitman!

OMG!!! It is my 1st time here and my girlfriend ordered for me and let me tell you!!!! It was the bomb.com!! I had cousin Tony with spinach and she ordered a salad with 2 different dressings and it was out of this world!!! Not only will I be back but I’m bringing more friends with me!!!

Outstanding Sandwiches!!

My favorite is my italian Hoagie!! The roll is wonderful and everything is so fresh and good!!! The sandwiches with sauce are also good, their tomato sauce is very good! I love the smell of just going in, as the cheeses and meats are all fresh and mouthwatering great!!

The Best

First of all, Dom is the best. His small talk and great personality quickly lead to us becoming regulars. Breakfast? It’s a Sunday (and sometimes Saturday) morning go to. Our three year old baby cousin specifically requests Mr Dominic’s pancakes. Omelets are huge, crispy hash browns, and my lord the toast is even killer. Lunch? Of course! The sandwiches are to die for! Perfect rolls. Great selection. Dinner? Why not! Fourth Friday, Food Festivals, Craft fairs. Tell ya what, see Dom and his sausage, peppers, and onions. They are droll worthy. Two things make an eating establishment. Good food and personable service. Don’t pass this gem up.

Ordered hoagies. Excellent choice of meats and cheese and other ingredients. Good Italian bread. Sandwich loaded with meats and cheese. Good quality. Sit in or take out. Full line of deli products.

Snow delayed opening - Breakfast

First time here. Like Pitman nice small town. Today is a cold icy day so many businesses have delayed opening. My client the Borough owns at 10, I’m here at 9:10 so “penguins walked” here for breakfast. Reviews are promising. Place is clean and bright and quiet on a sunny morning. They have prompt friendly service. Fried eggs were good and the pork roll was great. Comes with a hash brown which was nice and crisp as I prefer. Nice views of Main-street. Overall a nice local place with good food.
