Last night was frigid with an artic blast! Saw Hot Vegetable beef soup on the sign! A bowl of soup and a BLT is just what the cold air ordered! Always enjoy taking the family to Kessels. It gives them a feel of an old...More

Really cute old fashion style ice cream Shoppe. Great burgers and onion rings. Friendly staff, Family friendly. For dessert a truly great banana split, made with Breyers ice cream, fresh cut strawberries, banana, and pineapple cubes, great place.
Milkshakes and egg salad sandwiches...doesn't get any better! Except when you add cheese fries! Only my second time but clearly very popular with locals and regular visitors. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Cash only...but they have a mac machine so you don't get...More
One word = MILKSHAKE. Rest of menu is simple & straightforward. Hot & cold sandwiches fresh salads & ice cream. Homemade sweet tea is refreshing. Family owned business that is clean & efficient. Perfect for families with small children and seniors (no stairs).

French fries good. Iceberg lettuce in sandwiches a downer. Chicken salad huge, but no extras in it (celery, pickles, grapes?) Eight-ten waitresses, but spend more time chatting than serving. But lots of energy in the cheerful room.
