We walked in and walked out due to the way it looked. Food is suppose to be good but could not eat in that atmosphere.

Ate here recently. Almost no ambiance/atmosphere. Though there seemed to be two areas, we were seated in a small dining area around the bar which was occupied with some friendly neighborhood tipplers. The area was quite dark & the walls seemed to be wood. The food was just "good". Nothing wrong with it but - meh! The service was the... More

This is a little secret of a gem. The chef Anthony is an awesome cook and I've had excellent fish dishes, chicken savoy is to die for, scallops, filet mignon - scallops wrapped in bacon with rosemary. He has Gluten Free upon request but call ahead of time to make sure they are stocked. Jukebox plays, the bar crowd is... More

Great Italian food! Their signature dish of pork chops giambote is absolutely to die for. The potato slices in the meal can't be beat. My friends and I meet there at least 4 times a year and the experience is better each and every time. The food is delicious and the fried calamari is to die for. They have a... More

Not the most beautiful place but the food is fantastic!!! Very friendly crowd, bartenders and waitresses. Stuffed mushrooms out of this world and the veal milanese is the best I have ever had!!

Everything was outstanding, like a fine restaurant in a dive. Where's Guy Fieri? The environment is definitely homey and quirky. My wife never gets excited about pasta, and she could not stop eating the angel hair that came with the veal francese. I agreed that it was perfect. And for $17 including salad, quite a bargain. The flounder special was... More

I recently went to Washington Park Tavern for my 40th bday pregame celebration. Just a few drinks and some appetizers. I had the garlic shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms. Bon Appetit. The food was out of this world. I had a special invitation to view the kitchen and chef Anthony. He was outstanding. A fan forever.

Washington Park is definitely a hidden gem in Nutley. The food is delicious and the prices are great! This has been our "birthday" restaurant for a few years now, going there for each one of our family members birthday. I highly recommend it.
