A wonderful find of a restaurant here in the neighborhood. The food is authentic, tasty and plentiful. Save room for dessert and Turkish coffee to complete the experience. While apple tea is not formally on the menu they do have it, just ask. The only thing that I might suggest odd that they stream the vegetables for the side order... More

After buying the space next door that used to be a laundromat, Istanbul has added a party space to their restaurant. I booked my engagement party here in July 2016 and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was more than accommodating for our party of 60 and communicated with us regularly to set up the dishes, seating arrangements, and decor.... More

A nice little Turkish restaurant hidden behind an Exxon gas station in a middle of Nowhere, NJ. We stopped for lunch on our way to NYC. The three of us shared an Imam Bayildi, then had gyro, falafel and kebab wraps. Very happy with the food. Asked for Turkish coffee - that was pretty good, too, and made right in... More

We went to this place as a family, the place is conveniently located right offer of route 1. The place can get busy on the weekends, but the service is still fast and friendly. A lunch for two would be around $50 with tips. The food is good, but nothing memorable, just another Turkish place which is family friendly and... More

We have been to this place many times in the last few years. Like previously, the place did not disappoint. Four of us came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was quite empty when we arrived, but filled up quickly. The absolutely delicious starter bread, soft on the inside with the crispy crust on the outside, was served... More

We were happy to find this little gem not far from our hotel. Nice ethic decor, friendly staff and excellent food. I have been to Turkey several times, my husband has not and was a little reluctant to go, but he is glad he did. The servings were a little large for me, and I got a dessert to go... More

coincidentally I went to this restaurant on ramzan. So there was long waiting. My wife ordered a veggi dish suggested by the waiter. It cam up as a plate full of overly boiled vegetables in loose gravy. My wife couldn't have second bite. The waiter could feel the disappointment and did not charge for it. My chichen on yogurt was... More

We are only occasional visitors in Turkish restaurants, but I would judge this one as good or better than most in the area. We shared a large kebob combination platter -- I would rate most as above average, one or two just average. Nice ambiance and low prices. Crowded at dinner time on Sunday.
