Chateau of Spain is a nice place to eat. Located right in the Federal stronghold (lots of Government buildings nearby) it always has seemed like a safer area of Newark. Supporters of the NJ Devils they did give discounts to people going to the game....More

Food is fresh, flavorful and affordable. Excellent for lunch or dinner. Perfect for company luncheons and portions are large. Has accommodations for party's with a bar. Parking is an issue due to the location.

The stuff Tilapia and stuff prawns were good. The service was slow, but friendly. The atmosphere was also good. Overall, the visit was good; nothing to brag about.
