Food great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Walked us through all of our questions. My wife's veal chop was slightly overdone, but very edible. They told us that the dessert was on them and when we got the bill they took off both the dessert and the appetizer. Definitely woo go back when we are in the... More

During a concert tour for the men's chorus I sing in, we arranged for a last-night dinner at Clydz in New Brunswick. We had a wide selection from their menu, but the universal impression of the place was "outstanding!" The ribeye steak I had was cooked to perfection; the pecan pie was delicious; and the wait staff was friendly and... More

Clydz is an awesome place to have happy hour (4p-7p) after work with friends & co-workers. Parking is so-so- find on the street if you're lucky, next door at the lot, or by the bank. The place itself is pretty narrow. Yes, it can get quite loud, and very much packed easily- especially on Fridays, also weekends. Toned down lights... More

My wife and I had dinner last night at Clydz. This place is amazing. If you like to eat Game Meat, this is the place for you. We had Wild Boar, Venison, Antelope, and Alligator as part of our meal. The supper area is a very nice warm and laid back area. The service was perfect. Once you walk through... More

Very cool vibe and loved how it was cozy and intimate. It was my first time here and I was on a date and I couldn't have asked for a better date spot. Our server was great and very knowledgeable of the menu and wines that went well with all the food. I had a vegetarian lasagna and it was... More

We took a couple of our visiting kids there over thanksgiving weekend. All aspects of our meal were excellent. Clydz is noted for cocktails and exotic game and did not disappoint. Service was excellent also.

The website indicates they open @ 4 PM. What we learned is that the bar opens @ 4 PM, but, the kitchen opens @ 5 PM. We arrived about 4:40PM. We ended up sitting in the bar (which reminds me of a dark & dank cave dwelling.) My hubby ordered "a" Chopin Vodka Martini. He received (2). If I understand... More

When you order a martini, it comes in an individual shaker. A great spot to go on a Friday night with friends!

The food here is consistently good and the drinks are very special. Combinations that you would never think of work especially well. Be sure to make a reservation as they can be crowded at times. Happy hour has drinks and appetizers at reduced prices.

Took my friend here for her birthday and ordered the duck quesadillas which came out to be a sparse, stringy mess on cold tortillas. Her grilled cheese (?) seemed drastically better. Drinks are incredibly strong as I've had a mojito from this place and a Riesling/champagne concoction that I could definitely feel only four sips in. The place gets super... More
