Great food. Cheap drinks. Decor and seats/tables need to be updated but staff is very helpful and portions are huge. $ 40 for 4 plates is amazing those days. Im glad we found that Gem. Definitely coming back

We visited for dinner while taking a long weekend trip away from home. Food was ok, not excellent, not horrible. I thought it was over priced for what it was. It is semi-authentic, with a slant towards the American palette. Staff was very warm, friendly, and prompt. Orders came out in a reasonable time, and were exactly what we ordered.... More
This Mexican restaurant is the best in South Jersey! Food is always delicious & served hot. Even the free chips & salsa excellent. BYOB which means they concentrate on serving excellent food, not alcoholic drinks. They do offer mixers. I've been dining at El Azteca for years & will never go anywhere else when I crave Mexican.

Not bad at all. Service was good, food authentic and they give you plenty. The only thing I was disappointed in was the salsa for the chips. Looked like tomato sauce, bland, no onions or cilantro in it. Otherwise good food.
