Always great food and service. In the summer, there is outside seating. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Big portions for the money.

Go here… This place was great. The decor is really nice...it’s very clean and on top of that the food was excellent! Great service too!!!

Breakfast was just that, served fast and hot . Service is excellent , friendly and courteous.
Great hosts at the SIDES DINER /Grill.
Once we were seated the waitress wasted no time to see what we wanted, coffee came quick and hot. I ordered 3 eggs over , my friend had an omelet. Home fries were served hot and they tasted great. “I love good home fries” I ask the host if they served grits , she said no , but if I come back next week , she will have them for me . Ok, deal I said I be back because I love grits also.
There not to much you can say about breakfast and eggs but these eggs were tastey, but mainly they were served hot , the key to a great dinner experience is good food fast service and Hot.
It was clearly appearent that our waitress cared enough and get the food out of the kitchen fast enough for an enjoyable breakfast , with my long time friend.
The SIDES DINER / GRILL is at same location as the former Johnny’’s DINNER, which was a fine dinner serving fine food with friendly service.
It looks like the SIDES GRILL is on it way to becoming a community favorite stop, for great tasting food at a reasonable price .

I needed something quick in the morning and at 6am there are not many places open. I went in ordered a BLT to go and it was complete within 5 minutes. It was good and tatsy and only $7.50

Sides Diner is a short 1.2 Miles west of the Ocean Place Beach Resort in Long Branch, NJ and was a real surprise to find with great food, service and caring owners manning the front. While not the fanciest restaurant it appears to have been renovated in the last year and has a friendly, quiet atmosphere. I had the chorizo, onion and red roasted pepper omelette and my wife had the homemade turkey burger. The food was very tasty and service was outstanding. For $30 with tip included we were as happy as two clams on the Jersey Shore! If you are nearby, stop off for breakfast, brunch or lunch served all day, you will not be sorry!
