This place is a neighborhood gem. Casual, homey, and solid standard Italian fare, this byob is a welcome place if you need great food but don't want a overly fancy place. I've been twice and know I'll keep going back. Waitstaff and kitchen staff are super friendly, which makes this place even more special. The tiramisu is killer!
I've placed and order for 2 pies, one plain and other veggie for pick up. They said it will be ready in 20 min, I arrived after 20 min and they were taking it out of the oven which is great. Nothing worst than cold pie. Some complain that the owner (short bold guy) is rude and talks a lot,... More
Wonderful food and a real family feel for a cozy Italian place tucked away on a side street in the southern part of Lawrenceville. Typical of many New Jersey Italian places, there is a pizza and sandwich pickup side near the kitchen and a dining room for eating in. ( little I could select from the very, very extensive menu as I was in the meat of a stringent cleansing diet and almost all... More
Had regularly visited here many years ago, mostly for pizza, always good.Had moved away ...hadn't been there for awhile. Recently revisited it. They still make a great red sauce, no matter what it's on. Have to mention that the table cheese was about useless- tasted like powdered cardboard. Most entrees include soup or salad ,and bread if ordering chicken or... More
My husband went here for dinner. The food was awesome along with the servers. Everything came out in a timely manner and food was hot and delicious.
I love a good tasting Spaghetti n Meatballs. So when my patient told me that this place is the best? I had to try it. Place is small but cozy. No one around on mid afternoon. Had the chicken n spinach soup, a bit salty but it's okay. But I came in is for my dinner. My patient was right,... More
Went for lunch, first off, it was dirty walking in. I should have turned around then. There was no one at the counter and one of the cooks came up from the back. They had a whiteboard with specials and I chose the Italan hot dog. Went to get a soda and the soda machine was broken, so you had... More
The moment you step inside you feel like it you are in a time machine. The tables and booths are filled with families, some tables with multiple couples, or a young couple on a first date, or Grandma, with her son's or daughters family . You think you hear Happy Days playing in the background, This is atmosphere you feel.... More
