Located on the 3rd floor in the mall. The food is not bad. It costs about $10 for a meal. Portions are good.

We were in Jersey City. We went by Path, the metro, to Newport. The mall is across the road when you come out of the station. Ticket for the Path train is $2.75. Senior Citizen concession is there. But, you have to register through net in advance. We had not registered. So we were giving the full ticket rates. In... More
Located in the mall on the 3rd floor, near restrooms. My son craves teriyaki and insisted on eating here before heading out of town. Service was typical of a mall food joint. He enjoyed his meal and received a large portion for $10.

Food was OK, did take a while for them to understand my order, the main guy taking the orders was not the most helpful. It was all cooked in front of you and when you order (meat wise).
Just picked up 2 rolls (waited a LONG time even though I was the only customer there) and walked 10 min back to my office to find out neither has any wasabi. A total fail. I recommend Komegashi Too for good sushi, professionally prepared. This was a total fail.
Sarku Japan had very good food, but I recommend bringing a jacket because it is freezing in there! But there miso soup and teriyaki chicken are delicious!
I didn't like the food as the concept is similar to Panda Express but do not taste as good. One may try to make his/ her own judgement.
Nice locations, view from some tables. But can at times be crowded and busy feeling, and repeatedly the sashimi wasn't as fresh as I hoped and one should be able to expect. It's also quite expensive if you consider the hectic of the place.
