We were a party of 3 , we were recommended to go here and it was a great choice, we are Indian food addicts and ordered all different main courses , they are served with rice and we ordered roti and naan, all was served...freshly cooked and was truly excellent, I can recommend this restaurant to anyoneMore
Great selection and variety of lunch buffet. Usually buffets are filled with blah food, this one is pretty amazing both for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. From fresh golgappas to chowmein, vada and sambar, Chana Masala, tikias, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, Biriyani, chicken 65, Paneer,...gobi- the list just goes on and on. It was very crowded but everything seemed to be working like clockwork.More
This is by far one the best Indian buffet I’ve had. The selection, service and value are all aligned. The assortment of meat, fish and vegan dishes, desserts, breads and condiments will likely satisfy the most particular diner. I look forward to returning to Rasoi...next time I’m in Jersey City.
Helpful, please let me know. Enjoy Rasoi.More
This is my favorite place when I want to have indian food. They have buffet in the afternoon which is excellent to have if you go during afternoon. Have been there many times and everytime it meets expectation.
My favorite place as an Indian for great Indian food!. This has been a place we have frequented for the last 10 + years. This is better than the sister version in Edison and has more variety. Food is always well made and very tasty...not tempered down to the non-spicy palette. This is not a five str restaurant but a family managed restaurant that has buffer style lunches throughout the week. This is definitely the best way to experience Indian food if you have not previously done so....Only catch with this restaurant is the parking around Newark Ave....for that, I cannot help you and good luck! Just like any other Indian area in the world...parking is always a challenge:)More
This is my go to place in my neighborhood. The maitre d remembers me every time I return; and remembers that I have a particular food allergy. I love the food here... be prepared to eat too much... it is that good.
My family and friends have eaten here (as well as taken out food) for years and the experience has always been great (except for a few occasions). The customer service is good and the food portions are adequate and satisfying. We've even had private parties...as well as have had them do catering for large events and they have never disappointed us. We wish they would serve tea/coffee on the menu and finding parking could be a bit of a concern but those may be the only drawbacks. Worth a try !More
