Food is average but prices are not. Great guacamole but the price is not. Seriously, how do you get off charging the price you do for the portion size. Bring a flashlight to read the menu. Won't be going back.

I had lunch here yesterday, and the meal was gigantic -- more than enough food for two meals all for $20 plus tip. Food was fresh and well made although some items -- sweet potato hash for example -- had very little taste. Service was fast, efficient and very friendly. Decor is interesting with many Mexican themed items. Cleanliness is... More

Just an average overpriced mexican restaurant in the Riverside Mall in Hackensack. Service was average at best. Sitting outside was not a good idea as there are cars parking within 10 feet of your table, alarms going off, people beeping horns. Food was average at best and margaritas were weak.. Would not go back.

The food was great and the ambiance is good too. I like the chips and salsa to start with and there is different flavor that you can enjoy and appreciate if you are a foody like me. I would definitely like to go back there in the future.

The food is good but to me it is not authentic. It seems like a fusion type restaurant. If I want real Mexican I go elsewhere if I want something a little different eat here.

The quacamole is to die for. We had 2 portions it was so good. It's not cheap, but a good meal. The margaritas are also made superb. Our waiter Julio went out of his way to provide us with excellent service

My first mistake was to ask a salesman at the Mall's Store whether the Restaurant was ok. He positively acknowledged that the place is one of the better Mexican Restaurants in the area. What a flop this dining experience has become. We ordered house special guacamole to be prepared at the table. A one Guacamole appetizer that was over-salted and... More

Rosa Mexicano has a number of original dishes on the menu and the ownership prides themselves upon sourcing the spices and Mexican ingredients from native purveyors. The quacamole is made tableside and never disappoints. Drink prices are high and they have few beer selections

Our first Rosa Mexicano to open in New Jersey is located at The Shops at Riverside in Bergen County. The 160-seat restaurant features a spacious bar and lounge area, as well as outdoor and private dining options. Under the creative direction of architect and designer Timothy Higgins, the decor features vibrant colors such as vivid pink, deep maroon, rich butterscotch and warm yellow. Traditional craftwork and adornments include Oaxacan wood carvings of mythical animals, custom wax-dipped artwork, Mayan Indian textiles, and folk art masks. Tortillas are fresh-made on-site at a station featuring colorful tiles and a hammered copper hood. Through the unique designs and cuisine, all will encounter an authentic Mexican experience at Rosa Mexicano.
