The food is very good, although not outstanding. But the kimchi? I don't know what they put in that stuff, but it's consistently the best. You can just give me some rice and their kimchi, and that would be good enough for me. Yum. Service is quick, not necessarily friendly. Think diner style. But works for me.

Second time back with friends. Delicious kimchi and all in our party enjoyed our food. However service is not good. We were there on a Sunday night. Many empty tables in the restaurant and many of the waitstaff standing around. We had to call over the waitstaff to take our order, for more tea multiple times, more kimchi, and for... More

Here is one of those rare places that has a limited menu and does all dishes on it well - even if not exactly the best you ever had. It is quite consistent in quality and the service efficient. It is a place I have been to many times over the years and primarily to enjoy their sullungtang, a beef... More

Food was ok. We ordered the mung bean and seafood pancakes. We also ordered the pork dumplings. Menu limited and we prefer to avoid beef. I have had way better Korean. This was not bad, yet not great. Kim Chi was good. Yet... I will not be going back. Prices very reasonable. Valet parking available. Service was not great.. had... More

When in the NY area, we stop by Fort Lee just to visit Gam Mee Ok. This is a must stop for our family. GMO means something like "the house of sweet attraction/seduction". GMO started as a Seol Leong Tang house. SLT is a beef soup made from bones boiled for hours upon hours, served with sliced boiled beef, rice,... More

I took my family to this place by accident. It doesn't appear to be under the same ownership as the other famous one in Manhattan. Nevertheless I was surprised at the reasonable price and good quality of the food, as well as the clean and quiet environment and nice menu selection. I'm Korean with a pretty discerning eye/taste BTW.

This is a traditional Korean restaurant which will be a hidden treasure to many. Their menu is not extensive and their specialties are not what many would initially like. My friend and I went for a late night food run. Their seolleungtan (ox tail soup) was as good as I can ever remember. Soothing to your soul and nourishing. Their... More
