Our of us had delicious meals. Huge portions, you can definitely order the 1/2 portion (where available) and have plenty to eat. Other reviews complain about waiting--I think the timing of the service was fine. We wanted a relaxing meal and got one.
I've only eaten at the Firkin Tavern twice but both times the food was amazing!!! The risotto with scallops is to die for and the lobster bomb is so tasty! Nothing extra frilly about this place. Good tavern and restaurant with Old World decor. When possible, get their beef ribs. They're huge and delicious.

I love the giant Jenga game, all the staff are fun. food is good and clean bathroom and fast service. I love the bar area is separate from the play area.
