Restaurant week is a good time to try a restaurant for the first time. Overall, both on the fixed price menu and from the regular menu, Moxy earned high praise. the bean dip appetizer was whirred smooth, served warm and with large toasted bread slices....More

Wonderful setting, upscale decor, mediocre food. After reading wonderful reviews, the meal was most disappointing. Maybe it was the Monday night, maybe the young chefs, but e everyone in our party was let down. The pork belly was dry, the rest uninspired. Very surprising after...More

Creative tapas dishes...not crazy expensive. Fried pickles are a must. Unique wine list. We went before a concert for a quick bite, wish we had time for a few more dishes...will definitely come back

My first Moxy experience was 10/28 with a a group of 4 people. Really enjoyed most of the food ( wasn’t a fan of 1 of the desserts we tried- but it wasn’t the desserts fault). Service was great. We just kept ordering “rounds” of...More

My son had a great idea when I went to visit him in Portsmouth. He suggested that we go to a few restaurants for a bite to eat in each....kind of a foodee bar crawl. Moxy was a great stop. The bartender was super friendly....More

A dinner at Moxy is an experience. Don't plan on rushing through and running off to the theater if you want to savor the full event. Meals are truly tapas style. Ordering is done in stages. Our fantastic server Nick said we would want three...More

Our food was oily and unappetizing. The flavors were bland and our server seemed resentful when we didn't order more food. Please drop the "you should order xx number of dishes per person" speech, it's just so outdated.

Moxy is a restaurant. The Sheraton is one of the many lovely hotels in Portsmouth. Please re-read the various reviews. I am a visitor to Portsmouth, not a business owner there

Moxy; Self-possessed confidence. An attitude of fearlessness in everyday circumstances. The capacity to stand alone in favor of an unpopular opinion or course of action with a casual demeanor. Moxy is a modern American tapas restaurant focusing on smaller plates meant for sharing and taking our inspiration from our local farmers, culture and history.
