Started what has become an annual breakfast tradition four years ago. Usually have a group of 6-8 of us and they are always able to accommodate. Quick service with reasonable prices, waitress even asked if we wanted separate checks within the group. I had the corned beef hash (canned hash) and it was excellent and my coffee cup was always... I had breakfast here twice this past weekend while visiting a friend's cottage. Spot on diner food......plentiful, inexpensive( not cheap...good stuff). Great service and the right diner type of atmosphere. On day 1 I had an omelette, day 2 was corned beef hash( homemade)Fresh baked bread for toast. Coffee never went dry....... Bravo, Northwoods Diner!

Had a pastrami calzone.was very good for lunch. There is no sit in. I would have liked to sat down inside and enjoy my sandwich. It had a nice selection of deli type food. I hear steak tips are their specialty. Thank you Enjoy

Have noticed this diner in our local paper a lot so thought I would try breakfast. They are open for breakfast and lunch only and located on a main E/W highway to the coast. My visit was a little after 9 am and there were just a few patrons there at this time of day. Waitress was pleasant and had... More

We've been before on our way back from the shore. It's set back from the road with lots of parking, even for big trucks. Our breakfasts were perfect and it was fun to see the posters of Elvis, Marlon, Marilyn and James, and the memorabilia decorating the walls. But... The star of the show is the bread. We took home... Went to the dinner for breakfast with friends and it was excellent! The eggs Benedict had a choice of the regular Canadian bacon or ham or bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly and sauce was very good. My husband had homemade bread French toast and he choose the Dutch Apple--- very yummy. The corned beef hash side order was for all... More

Just what you would expect. good old time cooking. I had a grilled cheese & my husband had a hot turkey sandwich. They were both good. I noticed a lot of locals in the place which is always a good sign.

We went to the Northwood Diner a group of 8 hungry campers. We waited a while to be seated, but that is just because the food was so good everybody in town was there. The hostess was great; went out of her way to make sure we were seated together. Once seated, the waitress was super fun and spot on;... More
