The Flying Goose Brew Pub is just what its name states, a local pub where folks come for comfort food and good company. The Pub sponsors an ongoing concert series, with at least two concert nights per month. We most recently went to hear one of our favorite local musicians and artists, Tom Pirozzeli. The restaurant was crowded, but wait... More

After being away for several months, we decided to eat at the "Goose". We heard it changed hands and our visit confirmed that. Gone are the hand-patted burgers, replaced by a frozen, pre-formed, thinner, truck-delivered patty. The Pasta Kearsarge had a decent amount of artichokes in it, and you could tell because they tasted like they were taken directly from... More

These folks were terrific! 16 of us last minute and couldn't have done a better job with a packed restaurant!

Had a wonderful haddock sandwich along with an in house craft stout beer. Great food and awesome craft brews. Great service staff.

Pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon with no football on the tv. Short wait as they sat the four couples in front of us. Got a table in the bar and Libby as a waitress. Barb sampled and ordered the Crockett Corner Oatmeal Stout while I have the seasonal Arnie Burke's Best Bitter. Both were pretty good. I started with... More

Visited here for lunch. The view alone is worth a visit, even in the winter (I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be during the Fall foliage). Our waitress was friendly and fun, and the service was prompt. And the food was delicious and bountiful. I can't wait to return!

Just left there from having lunch. My salad had to be days old and sitting out. The greens were so wilted, the tomatoes were translucent. The clues were not crisp. My husbands Turkey club was so toasted he had to cut all the ends off so he wouldn't cut his mouth.

We stopped in for lunch after a hike and were pleasantly surprised. Someone had recommended it and I was not disappointed. The service was very attentive. The interior decor had a homey feel with a fire burning in the dining room (cold outside!). I had the Turkey BLT - a large portion of tasty and moist turkey, packed with bacon... More

Love the beers on tap with the app's. Can't beat their Goose Bread! Dinners are mediocre at best. My last visit I got the beef tips and they were extremely chewy and unpleasant. I'm good as long as I stick to Beer and App's.

Service was a bit slow and waitress didn't remember all the order details. Blue cheese burger was fine, sweet potato fries a bit too thick and not crispy, more like baked sweet potato logs. Decor with old memorabilia on the walls was fun, comfortable dining room. The other diner's burger was a bit overdone.
