This was our first time here and we definitely plan to go there again! The food and the service was excellent. Brenda our server was the best we have had in a long time. We left stuffed to the gills.

4 of us enjoyed a wonderful meal. I love the atmosphere. Something for everyone. Up stairs is a bar atmosphere with seats and high tops. Down stairs are several small rooms for a more private or romantic setting. The inn is from the late 1700's...More

Nice atmosphere. Several separate rooms to eat in. This is an old colonial farm house. However, I am partial to the bar. Free cheese and crackers, tables or couches ...Fun to just hang out to chit chat. Fun appetizers but a bit pricy. Same for...More

Food was fine, drinks were fine... service not so great. Server made it clear she couldn't wait for us to leave and was less than friendly. It was closing time and we understood that, but its not hard to be polite.

The atmosphere of the place is very nice, and the food was very good, but the service had a lot to be desired.

What I love about Common Man is that there is always room to relax like home. Just come in, head upstairs, and find a seat. Then the friendly service begins. The relaxed atmosphere in the upstairs lounge is the best. Complimentary cheese/dip and crackers, comfortable...More

The cheese and crackers was a very nice start. The staff was friendly, and the food was really good. Loved the charm of the restaurant itself.

The Common Man chain of restaurants used to be excellent, but then the founder sold the chain. We haven't been for several years because we had a couple of disappointing experiences, but we went again recently. The food was good, but nothing special. The service...More

As of recently, they do not take reservations. As I remember, they will give you special consideration if you call ahead, right before you leave. It is a large restaurant and generally has very short lines.
