The night we dined at the Hanover Street Chophouse was a holiday and very busy. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and was served pretty quickly. I have an allergy, which was mentioned at the time the reservation was made, and the server and the kitchen were informed prior to our arrival. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu,... Excellent food, service, ambience. A bit pricey, but worth it. Valet parking or off-street parking is available. Great whiskey bar.

I really went into this dinner thinking it was going to be perfect. From all the hype and reviews, it was disappointing. Don't get me wrong. The service was wonderful. The seafood tower was also great. But I ordered the Filet and my date ordered the Delmonico and our reactions were, "Yes, it was nice. Ok." I think the biggest... More

You know a restaurant is good when the staff doesn't ever seem to change. This restaurant has employed the same people for many years, and the service is just outstanding! I took several people for a business dinner, and everything about the meal, timing, and service was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their steak, but I always order the Chilean Seabass. It... More

Service was excellent, food was delectable but it was just a little too crowded and noisy for a romantic dinner for 2 and thank goodness my date was paying because I thought it was extremely pricey

My wife and I went for early Valentine's Day dinner. We had the salad special, the bacon app and each had an entire. I ordered the bone in Filet and was very impressed. She ordered the Filet Oscar and it was very good. Had a nice bottle of Silver Oak 2012 Cabernet that is smoky and worked well with our... More

The best part about a classic steakhouse is that they know what they do well and don't try to color too much outside the lines. The entire service experience, from the valet, to the hostess stand, table service, and back out again, was perfect in attitude and timing. Everyone was cheerful and enthusiastic. Each of them made us feel welcome... More

I have been there before when it wasn't busy and the service and food were great. Made reservations for a special occasion on a Saturday night; and it was a bad choice. Salad was disappointing and the salmon was mediocre. Creme Brulee was watery and 'eggy.' Service was relatively good and my friend's steak seemed good; but the sides were... More
