We wanted to leave our confines of small town Vermont and try small town New Hampshire fare. What a great choice. Wonderful staff, excellent atmosphere, delicious food. The chicken I had was done perfectly.

The Beal House dining room is an intimate restaurant with ambitions. The menu is atypical of country inns near ski areas (Bretton Woods, Cannon Mt), with many small plates and interesting-sounding dishes. The meal started off promisingly with a rich spinach dip with good amount of crab meat and housemade chips. I opted for other small plates of "pork (belly)... More

Staying in Littleton, NH and was recommended to go to the Beal House for dinner. The hotel we stayed at had a copy of the menu which looked great. When we arrived, we were seated by the owner and given menus that were nothing like the one our hotel had given us. As the new menu wasn't what we were... More

We were told by a recommendation to go to the Beal house. We happened to go on burger night. A burger and a beer for 11.00. I had the burger which tasted great. My wife odered the gnocchi dish with braised beef which also tasted great. The warm olives were a treat too!. Check it out!

Everyone in our party was satisfied with their meal. The entrees were plentiful, the food combinations tasty, and just the right amount of spice. The chicken and pork loin were cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were just right. Varied wine selection too.

Excellent, fresh roast cod properly cooked in a light broth, perfectly prepared duck with home made dumplings, two excellent appetizers, perfect service from Melissa and warmth all around. Far above the local competition

We had dinner in the pub. The pub had an old English pub feel. Even though it was casual dining the food was excellent. My duck was cooked perfectly and my wife's burger was delicious. The service was great.

My husband and I have stayed at this inn three times. This was our first time staying at the inn under the new owners. We stayed in the Flume room and we were not disappointed. The room was clean with very nice linens. The only downside we found was the music being played from the restaurant attached to the inn.... More
