Three Tomatoes is an excellent place to have a casual Italian dinner. The staff are helpful, the environment is very comfortable and the food meets the need! In the Lebanon-Hanover area, this is an excellent place to visit for an enjoyable, low key evening out!

We ate here at the recommendation of the innkeepers where we were staying. We did make a last minute reservation on line but it was not necessary. We went on a Friday night so it was busy but the wait and turnover was quick. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The artichoke bruschetta was amazing, a little too heavy on... More

If I ever am in the area again I will definitely eat there. Pizza was delicious! Wait staff was friendly and efficient. All good.

Nice family pasta dinner. Caprese was fresh, and meatball linguine tasty as well. The atmosphere is low key, and the serving staff have a wonderful, welcoming attitude. Fills up (but the restaurant is spacious).

We had dinner on a busy Saturday night. We arrived with a reservation and were seated right away. However, our server appeared quite busy and it took some time before she came around to us.we ordered salads to be served before our pizza, which they were, but shortly afterwards, the pizza came. It was cold and soggy. We couldn't get the... More

Hi Patricia. I'm sorry about your less than memorable dining experience on Saturday night. We take a lot of pride when it comes to producing a great wood fired pizza. We have for 26 years. As the owner, I'll take full responsibily for your cold and soggy pizza. Obviously, the server waited too long to bring it to your table... More

We were driving north and decided to look for a place to eat in the area. A local referred us to this place, and GOSH IS THAT GOOD. No… It is AMAZING. The family oriented atmosphere and the classic Italian decoration (as in real Italy, not in pseudo Italy) are just a sign you will get good food. The appetizer... More

We went with our 2 kids. Took a pizza, cesear salad, and kid meal (pasta). Not expensive at all, very good meals, the personal is very kind. We recommend!

Travelers to the Hanover/lebanon area of NH may find it difficult to find a solidly good, reliable Italian restaurant that is more than a pizza parlor. Three Tomatoes is that place, with classic dishes as well as innovative variations that make for an interesting dining experience. The wine list is reasonably priced, and there are always some special bottles on... More

We just had dinner tonight and everything was fantastic. Our waitress, Bailey, was wonderful. We had an antipasto salad, beet and goat cheese salad, a pizza, and split a tiramisu for dessert. The salads were fresh and the pizza was just like in Italy! So delicious! We were very impressed by the portion sizes and quality of the food. Sorry... More

We ended up here since another place we went to had an hour wait. We got right in, but service was a bit slow due to the restaurant being very busy on a Saturday night. We ordered pizza which was very good. Waitress never came over to ask how everything was. This must be a New England thing because I... More

Description
Three Tomatoes Trattoria opened on November 20th, 1990. Over the years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy in search of new ideas, recipes, and great wines to bring back to Three Tomatoes. The source of inspiration continues to be the simple, fresh, healthy and local foods of Trattoria style cooking. Eating in a Trattoria in Italy is like eating with an Italian family. The mood can be relaxed or boisterous, but always friendly. It is a home away from home and a gathering place for friends. I have tried to capture the warmth of the trattoria kitchen with its open fire, the aroma of simmering sauces, roasted meats, grilled fish and pizza baking in our custom built wood fired oven. Our newly revised wine list has been enhanced by selections of distinction and value inspired by attending Vinitaly, Slow Food's Terra Madre and visiting vineyards throughout Italy, Sicily and Sardinia. Three Tomatoes has captured some of the spirit that makes wine, food, and conviviality such an important part of trattoria life. Salute and buon appetito! Robert
