Great authentic home cooked Korean/Japanese cuisine. Consistently good and fairly priced. Service is wonderful.

Working in Lebanon for a couple of days and picked Yama for dinner off of everyone's helpful reviews! So glad we did! Very authentic Japanese and Korean - trying to eat more healthy on the road! This place is awesome , while basic in decor the food is delicious!

I love sushi and have eaten it in some of the best restaurants in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. The food here compares favorably to that offered in any of those places. I am a local resident and order take-out from Yama weekly and I have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and the staff is courteous and... More

We went on Christmas Eve and met another family. The food was very good and the service was super quick and really friendly. I got the bimbibap and it was so good I finished the entire dish. I never finish anything that big. My husband and daughter ate vegetarian and they loved their dishes as well. The other family had... More

Sometimes I have to go whether I want to or not because it's been too long without my favorite Korean dish. Sushi here is very good too. My son loves the noodle bowls. Atmosphere is not fancy but a great place to get a good casual meal.

This place has Japanese and Korean food. My favorite is the Japanese Lunch Box's. Come with about 10 different sides.

Looking for a place to eat while away for the weekend, dialed up Tripadvisor to see what people recommended & decided on Yama's. Had a little difficulty finding it as its a small non description building set back off the road. The decor is nothing to write home about...but the food is! Had the #3 lunchbox special bulgoki and it... More

One of the things that surprises me about the Upper Valley is that we tend to have restaurants from the "standard" ethnicities that are really underwhelming (Mexican, Chinese, Greek), but restaurants from slightly less standard ones that are very decent (Korean, Nepali, Turkish). This is one of the latter. The Kapdol Bibimbap is a favorite of mine (and virtually everyone... More
