The food is very authentically German (Austrian too - my husband is Austrian and loves the recipes he remembers!), but it can be expensive. There is not a huge amount of seating, so reservations are recommended. It is tucked in an out-of-the-way plaza, so you need to look for it, and park up in the back.

If you love German food, and have not yet found your way to Bavaria, get on it! This gem is hidden away in a Hooksett shopping plaza, but the food and beverages are pure Bavarian! Schnitzels, sumptuous. Wursts, wunderbar. Soups --- you cannot go wrong with any of them. We are regulars, and I have personally eaten just about everything... More

We ate there last Friday evening after making reservations. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out. Fairly brightly lit. What was striking was that it was relatively quiet so it was possible to enjoy the meal and carry on a conversation where today so many restaurants are impossibly noisy. The menu is relatively limited to sausages of some... More

If you like fresh food, compared to microwaved food like you get at chain restaurants, this is the place for you. All foods are prepared from scratch. Keep in mind that this is traditional German food, not American's take on German food (IE - you will not find German Chocolate cake on the menu)

Had a great dinner for a close friend celebrating her birthday. From Wurst salad, Pretzels, Schnitzel, to Pfannkuchen (Crêpes)with ice cream and wipe cream drizzled with chocolate syrup! Absolutely great meal.

The Bavaria continues to be a superb restaurant, serving a wide variety of delicious dishes (including dishes that my vegetarian relatives enjoy). We have gone there many times during the past 5 years or so, and we have never been disappointed. We are experienced travelers in Germany, and the Bavaria is the real deal--truly authentic. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately,... More

The best Bavarian restaurant in New Hampshire. Truly authentic specialties prepared and served by a couple from Munich. Monica runs the place in a Germanic fashion - do not be late for your reservation. Wonderful schnitzel, if they have liver dumpling soup, do not miss it! The currywurst will make you weep.

This was the time we had selected this restaurant and it was a special occasion. We were not disappointed. The decor is absolutely lovely, for starters. Every appetizer, entree and dessert was outstanding! The beer was extremely tasty as well. The service was excellent and one of the owners, Monika, came over to the table to thank us for our... Our first impression was that we had just stepped into Old World Germany. We first ordered drinks (mine a beer, of course). We then enjoyed sharing an appetizer of potato pancakes with applesauce. My husband enjoyed one of the daily specials and I had a sampling of sausages. All very yummy! My only disappointment was dessert. The apple strudel was... More
