Our visit to Robie's Country Store was very enjoyable. Upon walking in we were greeted by very friendly staff and an atmosphere of NH history. It was a pleasant change to just going out for a meal. My husband and I spent some time exploring...More

We go once a year when we visit NH for leaf peeping season. There is so much to look at and the food is fresh, and delicious and the portions are huge. The staff is gracious and attentive (as long as they're not busy!), and...More

This is a historic location and it was in a previous life a country store visited by lots of Politians visiting NH. Parking was limited but available. Service was quick and friendly. The food was outstanding and healthy (Breakfast). This is one of those place...More

We LOVE going to Roots at Robie's. Whether it is their monthly dinner club or Sunday Brunch. Its an amazing restaurant in a historic building that's formerly a Country Store. Don't be disappointed it isn't a full-blown country store anymore...it hasn't survived as one since...More

I had heard about Robie's from a friend and decided not to brave the lines at Tucker's in Concord and come here. Good, not great food but very friendly folks and the "serve yourself" for coffee was not off-putting at all as another reviewer mentioned....More

I have enjoyed Robies since 1996 under the original owners of Lloyd and Dottie Robie. Since then several changes in ownership took place. Unfortunately nothing to rave about. Now we have new owners again who understand that a business like this need additional sources of...More

Have tried both breakfast and lunch here, and was not disappointed. Everything is made from scratch by the owners, and sourced locally when available. Try the hand cut fries with your lunch, you will love them!

We often go to Roots Cafe located in the former Robie's Country Store which is somewhat a landmark in the local area. Breakfast all day on weekends. They close at 3 and are closed on Mondays, so only breakfast lunch. I've had great sandwiches, salads...More

Robie's Country Store has long been the premier, must-visit stop along the campaign trail during Presidential and local elections in New Hampshire. Listed in the NH and National Register of Historic Places, Robie's has served locals, river traffic, mill workers, and rail traffic since it opened in 1822. The building, from its well-worn floorboards to the sunbaked front porch and the picnic tables looking over the Merrimack River, gives evidence of over a century of service as a local New England market. Robie's has served as a campaign stop for both Mitt Romney and his father George Romney, and Jimmy Carter walked through these doors as a relatively unknown candidate...as have many politicians dating back to the 1950s. Evidence of the political history adorns the walls. Moving into modern times, Robie's welcomes the movement to "buy local" and serves as a café and market where you'll find the best NH locally-made goods alongside a menu featuring the freshest locally-grown food available...and famous pancakes! Amber and Josh Enright bring their full menu from Roots Catering to Robie's. "This is really how you had to run a store before mass production. Your local market sold locally-made goods." said Amber. The café at Robie's features an eclectic take on many classic New England foods and also includes a rotation of fresh salads, delicious soups, and hot/cold sandwiches. The market taps into small-batch, homemade items made locally throughout NH and New England to offer a high-quality selection across candies, gifts, stationery, cooking supplies, cheeses, oils, and numerous other items. Open for breakfast and lunch with take-out available. Featuring Java Tree coffee and full espresso bar, Nashoba Brook slow rise bread, fresh baked scones, quiches, frittatas, and much, much more.
