The food is great, but the atmosphere and owners are the best! Kind, helpful, generous and fun. Perfect for a quiet couples meal, to meet friends after work and watch your favorite sports team, or sit down with the family...this place has it all!
Restaurant is "dirty" looking. Food is so-so. Bar and restaurant is dark and dull. Wait staff very aloof. Owner seems very nice, helps local charities, but all in all not great
Staff is very friendly and efficient, menu is diverse with several options available from sandwiches, soups, salads, steak and more . Their lobster rolls and clam chowder are a must to try. Both are mouth watering. It's always a lively time at the 401 Tavern!
