This is a wonderful place for a bagel and coffee. The exposed brick walls make you feel like you are in an old tavern - in a good way. Read the mission statement on the wall. You will be impressed. Love it!

Upon arrival in Concord we searched for a lunch spot offering vegetarian options. The Works Bakery Cafe was at the top of our recommended list. We enjoyed our sandwiches and a smoothie. Everything was delicious. The sandwiches were prepared with noticeably fresh ingredients. I hope to visit again soon and try other items on the menu.

Not much to say. Good bagels. Good coffee and their lunches are good. I like their soups too. Not home made but still quite tasty. No complaints. The place is extremely clean and the owner has good public spirit. If you want more from a bagel place you need to adjust your expectations.

One of my fav places. Love the sliced smoke salmon on a toasted "Works" bagel. Wash it down with a double Mocha Latte and you are good for the day.

Very tasty bagels with egg and cheese, or cream cheese. Muffins are a win with my grandson. Great coffee, have had mochas, lattes and the reg. coffee, all great! The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Whenever I feel like relaxing and reading a newspaper, I head to The Works Bakery Café. It is located right on N. Main Street in Concord. The bagels with cream cheese are excellent, the coffee is fresh and hot. It is a nice sitting atmosphere inside and in the warmer weather you can sit outside and watch the activity on... More

Thank you so much for your review! We work very hard to make the best possible bagels, using just five pure ingredients--unbromated, unbleached flour; water; salt; yeast; and malt syrup--and baking them the old-fashioned way. No steaming here, only proofing, boiling and baking! And the coffee is single-source, from one pesticide-free plantation that treats its employees very very well. We... More

Located in the heart of downtown Concord, this place offers delicious bagels and sandwiches. The bagels are by far better than any others in town, and the service staff is friendly and efficient. The space is small, but turnover is generally quick, so you can usually find a seat. At this visit we ordered breakfast in the form of various... More

The Works is a nice little cafe with an amazing choice of breakfast options (especially bagels and wraps) on the beautiful main street of Concord. The staff was very friendly and quick, and the food very good and reasonably priced. I would certainly go back!

Hello Hala14, Thank you so much for your review! We're really happy that your visit to our cafe went so well. We're especially proud of the bagels—they're made the old-fashioned way, just 5 ingredients (unbleached & unbromated flour, water, salt, yeast, and pure male syrup) boiled and baked like the bagel masters of yore! In fact, we let them rise... More

Breads were really good especially the whole grains. Breakfast is served all day but the downside is that eggs are cooked in a microwave. Coffee is excellent.

Hello Chili! Thank you so much for your review. We're really happy that the breads and coffee hit the spot (all our bakery products are made from unbleached and unbromated flour and our coffee comes from a sustainable plantation that uses no herbicides or pesticides and provides for its worker's well-being). And thank you for your note on the eggs.... More
